Industrial electrical work that respects your production schedule

In an industrial site, an electrical fault is not an inconvenience — it is a stopped line. Our industrial work is built around that reality: proper fault diagnosis instead of guesswork, planned shutdown work scheduled when you are not running, and thermal imaging that finds the loose connection before it becomes a failure.

We handle three-phase installations, machine relocations and connections, distribution board and switchgear work, motor and VSD faults, and power quality investigations. High bay LED lighting upgrades are one of the fastest paybacks available on a warehouse, and we can usually do the changeover in stages so the floor keeps operating.

Compliance is part of the job rather than an afterthought. That means RCD testing and test and tag on schedule, emergency and exit lighting logged to AS 2293, and switchboard thermal scans documented so your insurer and auditor are satisfied.

When something does fail outside hours, maintenance customers get priority response — see emergency electrician.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions about industrial electrician

Do you work during planned shutdowns?

Yes, and that is usually when the bigger work happens. We plan the scope against your shutdown window, bring enough labour to finish inside it, and stage the work so anything unfinished still leaves you able to run.

What is thermal imaging and do I need it?

An infrared camera scan of switchboards and connections under load. Loose or overloaded terminations run hot long before they fail, so a scan catches them cheaply. Many insurers now expect an annual scan on industrial boards.

Can you connect and relocate machinery?

We do it regularly — isolators, dedicated circuits, control wiring and commissioning. Give us the machine's nameplate and electrical schedule and we will confirm what supply it needs before the machine arrives.

Do you handle three-phase faults?

Yes. Phase loss, voltage imbalance, nuisance tripping and motor faults are all standard work for us. We measure rather than assume, then explain what we found and what it will cost to fix.

How disruptive is a high bay LED upgrade?

Less than most people expect. We usually work in sections with a scissor lift or boom, so only part of the floor is affected at a time. Many customers do it over a couple of nights.

Are your team inducted for industrial sites?

Our electricians hold current construction induction cards, we supply SWMS and JSAs, and we complete your site-specific induction before starting. Certificates of currency for our $20 million public liability cover are available on request.

Do you provide compliance documentation?

Every time. Certificates of Electrical Safety for installation work, plus dated test registers for RCD testing, test and tag, emergency lighting and thermal scans, kept on file and reissued whenever you need them.

What response times can you commit to?

For customers on a maintenance agreement we prioritise call-outs ahead of general work and agree target response times in writing as part of the schedule.
