Quotes

Quotes are free and valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. A quote is a fixed price for the scope described in it. Work outside that scope is a variation and will be quoted separately before we carry it out — we will never simply add it to your invoice.

Fixed pricing

We price by the job, not the hour. If the work takes longer than we estimated, that is our risk and the price does not change. Prices may change only where the scope changes, where hidden conditions are found that could not reasonably have been identified at inspection, or where you request additional work.

Access and site conditions

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area at the agreed time. Where access is not available and we have attended as scheduled, a reattendance fee may apply. Please tell us in advance about pets, asbestos, difficult access or anything else that affects how we work.

Lifetime labour warranty

We warrant our workmanship for as long as you own the property at which the work was performed. If our workmanship fails, we will return and rectify it at no charge. The warranty does not cover materials (which carry their own manufacturer warranties), fair wear and tear, misuse, damage by others, storm or pest damage, or work later altered by another party.

Materials and manufacturer warranties

Goods we supply carry the manufacturer's warranty, which we register on your behalf where the supplier allows it. Where you supply your own materials or equipment, our labour warranty still applies but we accept no responsibility for the performance of those goods.

Payment

Payment terms are stated on your quote and invoice. Commercial account terms are available by arrangement. Ownership of supplied goods remains with us until payment is received in full.

Certificates and compliance

All prescribed electrical work is certified through Energy Safe Victoria and a Certificate of Electrical Safety is issued to you. Refrigerant handling is carried out under our ARC authorisation.

Cancellation

Let us know as early as you can. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may attract a fee where materials have been ordered or labour committed.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
